3 sweet onions
1/2 cup flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
Prepare the onions by first, washing and peeling them. Cut the onion into 1/4 inch thick slices.
Separate the onion into rings.
Mix the flour, salt, pepper and baking powder together in a bowl.
Beat the egg well and mix it with the milk.
Add the eggs to the flour and blend well.
Dip the onion rings into the batter and then into the cooking oil.
Fry each onion ring until they are golden brown on each side.
